Description
When Miata owners look for a spot to mount switches, the most obvious choice is the tombstone. Single din radios leave a perfect cubby hole sized spot for switches. That idea works great if you’re running a single din or a headless or minimalist look.
But if want to run a double din head unit, you will find yourself short of space.
If you have manual windows, the blank spot in the center console is the best place to add buttons. (If you have power windows, you should totally get these.)
The possibilities are endless. Trigger changes in an aftermarket ECU. Wire momentary switches to the horn, or maybe a secondary horn. Turn LEDS on or off.
This product includes:
- Bracket to mount the switches to your console
- “Appearance” plate in either bare metal or powder coated black
- Four buttons in the color, illumination color, and operation of your choice
- Four button connectors. These make it much easier to wire the buttons.
- Two Posi-tap connectors to tap the ash tray light wires (if you so choose). These connectors are the best way to create a permanent yet removable tap.
Unfortunately, I don’t have time to help with every wiring scenario; however, there are a TON of YouTube tutorials that explain how these simple buttons work.
