Description
After over a year in development, I’m so happy to offer these for sale. Fitting all of this hardware in such a small space took multiple revisions to get right. I’m so happy with how these turned out!
The buttons drive the relays. The relays drive the power window motors.
If your stock Miata switches are worn out or have become corroded over time, these might help your windows move faster; however, many things could be slowing them down, so I can’t promise you’ll see an improvement. What I can promise is that these look much, much better than the stock plastic switches 🙂
FAQs:
Q: Where can I get more information on installing these?
A: The installation guide can be found at this link: Power Window Switch Install Guide.
Q: Will these fit an NB?
A: Unfortunately no, but I hope to make an NB version as soon as I have an NB.
Q: How did you fit all of that hardware under the console??
A: These use industry standard mini relays. They’re a little smaller from the most common style you see, but they aren’t exotic. I had to design a custom mount for them.
Q: Why are these so much more expensive than retro toggle power window switches.
A: Two retro toggle switches versus four push buttons, four relays, and the time it takes to wire all of that plus the time and materials to print the relay holder. It takes a lot more time and stuff to make these.
Q: I deleted my console. Can you make a set that mounts into a radio blanking plate?
A: Yes! Send me a message with the contact form below for a quote.
Q: Can you make a set that lights up with a different color like green for a more OEM look?
A: Yes! Send me a message with the contact form below for a quote.
