Description
My friend, Jim, the original owner of the tastefully-upgraded 350,000 mile Ginya, reached out to see if I could solve a ticking time-bomb issue with his car. The fan switch connector was starting to degrade after 30 years of faithful service, and Jim needed help tracking a new one down. These single-pin connectors aren’t as easy to find as most other parts.
OEM connector treasure hunt? I’m on it!
After a while of searching, I found a source and put together this kit. Since most folks don’t have the right tool to *properly* crimp the non-insulated terminal, my kit takes care of that for you and provides an OEM-matching 12 inch (304mm) lead and a heat shrink butt splice to splice into the OEM wire. The butt splice is not connected, so you can solder the new wire if you prefer.
